Outfit changes are welcome within your reserved session time. I recommend choosing the number that allows us enough time to create a full, intentional gallery.

For the things that are happening whether a camera is there or not. Birthdays, graduation parties, celebrations, gatherings, small business events, or an ordinary piece of life you want to remember.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a contract required?
Yes. A signed photography agreement and 50% retainer are required to reserve your date. The agreement covers the important details — payment, rescheduling, image use, and what you can expect from me.

I’m awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?
Absolutely. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands — that’s my job. I’ll give you direction when you need it while leaving room for natural movement, personality, and the moments that happen in between. My goal is for your photographs to feel like you, not like you spent an hour performing for the camera.

Do you have a studio?
My sessions are primarily photographed on location, and we’ll choose a setting together that complements the look and feel you’re after. I don’t currently operate a traditional studio, but if an indoor or studio setting better fits your vision, we can talk through available options.

Do you photograph events?
Yes. I photograph smaller celebrations, gatherings, and the moments happening in between—birthdays, graduation parties, time with the people you love, or even an ordinary day worth remembering. My approach is candid and observational, focused on capturing what’s happening naturally rather than staging or heavily posing the moment.

What should I wear?
Wear something that feels like you. You’ll receive a session guide with tips for choosing colors, textures, and coordinating outfits that photograph well, but think of it as inspiration — not a rulebook. I’m always happy to help if you’re deciding between options. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself.

What happens if the weather is bad?
I’ll keep an eye on the forecast as your session gets closer. Clouds, wind, and imperfect weather can make beautiful photographs, so we won’t automatically reschedule for a less-than-perfect forecast. If conditions truly aren’t safe or won’t work for what we have planned, we’ll choose another date.
